We had lied so much to everyone else in our lives, you’d think we could have at least been honest with each other.  I didn’t want to hurt you, and you say you didn’t want to hurt me, but the hurt came anyway.

<I>I’m seeing Martin.</I>

 

It was so easy to lie.

And I see you every day, and have to look in your eyes, knowing the only thing that was never a lie was how I felt about you.
